What we do. . .

A.R.M Productions specialises in providing a unique and diverse voice and image to your product or event. Managing Director Alistair Mizon started his career in equestrian sport as British Showjumping Judge but quickly became popular as an arena announcer. From this stage he first launched his career as a professional commentator specialising in Show Jumping but with experience in all equestrian Olympic disciplines as well as showing and general agriculture. In an effort to challenge himself to new things, he then moved in to the field of presenting, broadcasting and MC'ing corporate events. With a wealth of performance experience combined with a keen mind for details, Alistair has developed his own unique style and methods of engaging all audiences and bringing excitement and spectacle to private and public events of all scales.

Career Highlights

CHI Al Shaqa, Doha Qatar

 March 2019

In March 2019 Alistair joined forces with a world class sports presentation team at one of the largest events of it's kind in the world. The CHI Al Shaqab is one of just a handful of CHI events in the world and is held at a venue unlike any other. Consisting of three Olympic disciplines in CSI5* Jumping, CDI5* Dressage and CPEDI3* Para-Dressage and boasting a €2 million prize fund the stage was set for a truly one-of-a-kind event. During the event Alistair was responsible for working live to camera & arena audiences simultaneously presenting field of play interviews with riders combined with opening and closing statements, fill pieces and full results to the broadcast cameras.

RBS Royal Highland Show 2018

In June 2018 Alistair traveled north to Edinburgh and the world famous Royal Highland Show. As part of the arena commentary team Alistair was required to present the Working Hunter and Show Jumping events to a capacity audience over the four days. Working alone for the working hunter events and as part of a duo with long time friend and international commentator Matt Millin for the Jumping Alistair created an exciting and informative environment which was enjoyed by the crowds and appreciated by the events long standing sponsors.

Alistair has been confirmed as the lead commentator for the 2019 running of the RBS Royal Highland Show.

Alistair thrives under pressure and never is this more evident than when he is working live to an audience. Playing the crowd off the live action in the arena, judging their responses and conveying each scenarios specific mix of drama, emotion and information to the wider audience is by far his favourite work. Whilst Alistair specialises in equestrian sport he is an avid sportsman, diligent researcher and fast thinker and would be able to bring his skill-set to any sport or display.

His likeable manner allows audiences to connect with him quickly through the lens and his quick thinking makes him a producers favourite when things don't go quite to plan on location.
